Every so often, I pull a bit of a disappearing act and venture far away from the city to connect with nature as a source of inspiration and healing.
I had the privilege and honor of collaborating with Angela on several photo-shoots, one of them being for a project with Dickson Designs and Creations for Continuity. Together – all aboriginal female entrepreneurs - created beautiful art and everlasting friendships.
So when she asked me to try again, I was nervous. Insecure. Give me a person to photograph, and I can rock it. Ask me to make a video, and I want to quickly yet quietly walk away. I was a photographer, not a videographer.
